The Institute conducts a melange of professional development programmes to serve the increasing and changing demands of capital market. Duration of the programme ranges from one day to three months.

Some of the significant programmes include:
Portfolio Analysis and Strategies, Venture Capital and Private Equity, Advanced Risk Management for Mutual Fund, Performance Measurement and Evaluation of Mutual Funds.

Most Asian markets require training and professional guidance to operate their markets successfully. To meet the demand of these countries, the Institute has designed and offered several international professional development programmes. How Debt Market Works?, Financial Markets, Instrument and Institutions and Modern Financial Market and Urban Infrastructure Financing.

Many-a-time the Institute has offered specific training and knowledge furtherance programme with a view to meeting clients' tailored requirements. The Institute has been in the forefront of offering client specific training facility both on the campus and off-the campus. So far the Institute has conducted about 250 public/open professional development programmes and around 4600 professionals benefited by attending the programmes. Total number of participant training days works out to 25000. The Institute conducted 276 client specific training programmes covering 10600 executives for about 34000 participant training days. Several countries have been benefitted by sending their executives to attend professional development programme at the Institute. The Institute conducted 24 training programmes for about 310 participants covering 2900 training days. Till date 33 National and International Seminars / Conferences / Workshops have been conducted to address issues concerning Indian and global capital markets.
