The Indian financial markets have become increasingly complex and competitive in the post-economic liberalisation era. The course inputs are designed to accomplish the following objectives

Pedagogy
The course would be delivered through classroom teaching, real-time case studies, hands on experience and Do-It-Yourself – Financial Planning. Candidates would be evaluated on a continuous basis through examination, assignments and project / case studies. In order to obtain the Certificate, candidates have to secure minimum marks, as stipulated by the Institute. |

This course is ideally suited for middle and senior level executives from banks, mutual funds, insurance companies; distributors of insurance, pension & MF products; Professionals such as CAs, ICWAs, Investment and tax consultants etc.; and to those who want to pursue financial planning as an independent profession |

Eligibility
Any graduate with the right aptitude. The selection of the candidate would be based on personal interview. The Institute reserves the right of admission to the course. |

Venue & Duration
The course will be conducted at the Institute during the weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). The course commences on Saturday, 6th January 2007 and will go on for 12 consecutive weekends, i.e. upto 25th March 2007. Timing of the course would be 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. There would be more than 150 hours of classroom teaching / case studies. The Institute reserves the right to make changes to the course as it deems necessary. |

Admission Procedure
Eligible participants interested in pursuing the course may apply for admission into the course by submitting the Application Form. The said form can be downloaded at www.utiicm.com. The Application form, filled in all respects, should be sent to the address given below alongwith a Demand Draft / Pay Order (DD/PO) for Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only) drawn in favour of the “Indian Institute of Capital Markets” payable at Mumbai. Applicants may also obtain the Application form by making payment of Rs.300/- through DD/PO drawn in favour of the “Indian Institute of Capital Markets” payable at Mumbai. The application fee once paid is non-refundable. On its realisation, the participant would be called for a personal interview. Based on the feedback, the participant may be permitted to take admission to the course. No correspondence, whatsoever, regarding non-selection will be entertained. The Institute’s decision is final and binding. |

Fees
The fee for the course is Rs.35,000/- (taxes would be additional – approximately 12.24% of the fee). The fee includes books, reading material, case studies, lunch, tea, coffee and snacks. It is a non-residential course*. Fee is to be paid by way of a DD / PO drawn in favour of the “Indian Institute of Capital Markets” payable at Mumbai. Fee once paid is non-refundable. Fees can be paid in two instalments of Rs.20,000/- (at the time of admission) and Rs.15,000/- (within one month of commencement of the course) plus applicable taxes. Candidates failing to pay the fees within the set time limit will not be permitted to attend the class and interest @ 15% p.a. will be levied on the delayed period.
*Participants interested in availing weekend residential facility at Institute’s hostel during the course can avail the same subject to availability and on payment basis. |
